Communication
At St Giles School we pride ourselves on being an open school with good communication between staff and parents, and always welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can make things even better.
Parents receive regular information updates from school, using the following methods:
- School Website
Our school website is the first port of call for any parents or visitors wishing to know more about St Giles School.
- Class Dojo
Class Dojo is used by teachers to send informal messages and updates. Parents are provided with a log in for their child when they start school which will enable them to see their Class Dojo page, read messages and updates from staff and also to send messages to teachers.
- sQuid emails
Parents receive regular emails from sQuid regarding important notifications, including details of school trips and clubs which are booked and paid for via sQuid.
- Newsletters
Newsletters are sent fortnightly, via sQuid emails, to keep parents up to date with what has been happening in school and highlight upcoming events.
- Letters home via children
Occasionally children will bring home letters with permission slips for trips and events that require dietary information.
