EYFS Curriculum
The EYFS is the foundation, the building blocks to our children’s educational journey here at St Giles’ School. We want all of our Early Years pupils to be happy, confident, well-rounded individuals who have a love of learning and exploring. We believe in providing all children with a safe, secure and stimulating environment, both inside and out, that builds on individual wants, needs and interests. We develop caring, respectful, professional relationships with all of our children and their families.
Children will have the opportunity to learn through play which will help them to develop our three core values of being responsible, respectful, and resilient individuals which is underpinned by our Christian distinctiveness.
We want all of our children to leave EYFS, fully equipped to take on the next challenges of Key Stage One. We are committed to giving our children the best possible start to their school life, teaching them skills which promote a positive mental health and well-being and ensures they reach their full potential in the future.
