School Meals

Children are asked at morning registration whether they would require a school dinner and their choice of lunch or if they have brought a packed lunch.

School dinners cost £2.40 per day for children in Key Stage 2.  Children in Reception and Key Stage 1 are currently all entitled to free school meals.

Payments for school meals should be paid using our online sQuid payment system, with the charge for school lunches being taken from the sQid catering purse on a daily basis.

Parents in receipt of Income Support may claim free school meals – details are available from the school office.  Children receiving free school meals will be treated no differently to any other and will not be identified in any way.  They may also receive a free packed lunch when their class goes on a day visit.

Alternatively, packed lunches may be brought to school. In this case children should bring a plastic cup to school if they wish to have a drink of water or alternatively bring their own leak proof container of juice.  Please be aware we are a Healthy School so no fizzy drinks.
