We had a wonderful World Book Day celebrating all things that are brilliant about books.  The costumes were simply amazing!  Our morning parade was lots of fun; the children were able to talk about their favourite books and characters.  We all discovered some new books to inspire our reading.

Teachers had a really tricky job choosing our costume winners.  It was a Book Buzz competition so we were firstly looking for winners related to our Book Buzz project and books.  However, a couple of classes weren’t able to do this so chose the most creative, homemade costumes.  The costume winners were awarded a £5 Amazon gift voucher – to hopefully spend on books!  Well done everyone!
