School Dinners are served with the option of a main meal (please see menu link below), jacket potato or baguette.  Children are asked at morning registration whether they would require a school dinner or have brought a packed lunch.

School dinners cost £2.10 per day for children in Key Stage 2.  Children in Reception and Key Stage 1 are currently all entitled to free school meals.

If parents wish to pay in advance, this is still acceptable, but equally payment could be made daily.  Please send money or cheque into school with your child at the beginning of the week.  Cheques should be made payable to Chartwells – not to school.  Payments must be sent in an envelope or purse/wallet with your child’s name and days per week that the payment relates to.  Online payments are still available using our ParentMail system.  Information is provided on the payment screen regarding amounts for daily weekly and half termly payments.

Parents in receipt of Income Support may claim free school meals – details are available from the school office.  Children receiving free school meals will be treated no differently to any other and will not be identified in any way.  They may also receive a free packed lunch when their class goes on a day visit.

Alternatively, packed lunches may be brought to school. In this case children should bring a plastic cup to school if they wish to have a drink of water or alternatively bring their own leak proof container of juice.  Please be aware we are a Healthy School so no fizzy drinks.
